With the MS 24 Hour Mega Swim now only a few short weeks away, we know everyone is getting eager to get in the water. To help our teams stay awake and energized for the full 24 hours we have compiled some tips and tricks to help you get the best out of the event without feeling like you might pass out from exhaustion.
Firstly, and most importantly, stay hydrated and do get some rest. This includes drinking water whenever possible (pool water doesn't count, drink fresh water!), and getting some form of shut eye throughout the 24 hours. We will have a designated rest area so people can come chill out, have some quite time and have a quick nap.
To help keep you energized we have very enthusiastic volunteers and support crew who will help you out with any issues and double as a cheer squad to help cheer on all teams to the finish. We will also have a DJ throughout the night pumping all the best tunes to help keep everyone in the zone and pumped up for those graveyard swimming shifts. So no matter what time you are swimming the pool will be a buzz with enthusiasm.
